Dimitris has over 17 years experience working as a full stack software engineer and a lifetime experience as a software and computer tinkerer. He started coding at the age of 12 and has been coding ever since. He started his professional career as a device driver developer for industrial cameras used in robotics systems. After 8 years he moved on to web and systems development focusing his interest in machine learning and NLP the last 5 years. He has pushed code to production for all levels of the software stack starting from low level kernel mode device drivers up to complex user interfaces in Javascript. Dimitris fell in love with neural networks before they were cool and while still in high school. His interest was rejuvenated in 2010 after their rebranding to deep neural networks followed by their explosive growth and success.
